TEIKOS water softeners for calcareous water are essential
accessories which will ensure the maximum longevity of your
appliance.
Technical specifications that distinguish these
softeners from the majority of similar products currently on the
market are:
- Single control lever.
- By-pass valve.
-
Resin-shaking feature
Single control lever.
This feature
is provided to replace the already out-dated solution of two taps
usable through various combination of positions.
Thanks to the
sequence of 4 positions, the single control lever gives the
opportunity of an easy, fast and correct regeneration process.
The four positions, well highlighted on the lever itself, are:
1
.- position of normal work;
2 .- position of depression and salt
load (normal coarse kitchen salt);
3 .- position of resin
regeneration;
4 .- position of resin shaking.
By-pass
valve.
This is a very important feature because it allows the use
of the appliance connected to the softener even while the latter is
undergoing the regeneration of resins. Thanks to this built-in valve,
you will no longer have to stop your work and wait until the
regeneration process is over.
Resin-shaking feature.
This
is perhaps the most interesting feature because it solves the basic
problem that affects most softeners of this type.
Water tends to
create small preferential channels inside the resins, which greatly
reduces what is the surface for ion exchange offered by the resins.
Solving this problem in the past meant having to uninstall the
softener shaking it physically in order to stir the resins. This
solution is very uncomfortable because it means disconnecting all the
tubes connected and to take the softener away from its working
position which is normally hidden.
The modern TEIKOS softeners
offer a different solution thanks to an automatic process of resin
stirring that is run at each regeneration cycle. This process will
guarantee the top performance of your appliance for a very long time.
Installation.
The installation procedure is very simple
because it is already equipped with everything needed to proceed
independently without help of technical personnel.
- Use the
supplied hose to connect the water inlet of the softener to the water
tap
- Use the hoses of your appliance to connect the water outlet
of the softener to the appliance
- The supplied drain pipe of the
softener must be connected to the drainage system
No electrical
connection is necessary or required.
